Pre-School

The pre-school has been established for over 15 years, running 5 mornings per week (term time only) from 9:00 – 12:00noon.

We are an Outstanding Ofsted registered Pre-School and work closely with Early Years Childcare Development Team. Our Development Officer in conjunction with the Calvary Pre-School Management Committee, assist us in maintaining and developing the training and welfare of the Pre-School, working towards the Every Child Matters standards set by Ofsted Early Years Directorate. Our established team of qualified, experienced staff and volunteers are all CRB cleared.

We provide sessional care for children aged between 2 and 5 years and offer places for 32 children per session. The ratio requirements are adhered to within the Ofsted standards.

The Pre-School receive Nursery Education Funding, which provides free childcare places for children aged 3 years and over.

We provide a varied learning environment, where children take part in a wide range of stimulating activities.
